Kids Info-Ed Show: Playing with Big Toys

 Mediacorp Channel 8, Singapore’s national broadcaster, has collaborated with TSL on a kid’s Mandarin education series program, "Playing with Big Toys".

Playing with Big Toys is a programme where the host, Ben Yeo, will bring kids to see their favourite toys in real life. These “Big Toys" range from train to recycle trucks to excavators.

For one of the episodes, two kids, ardent fans of excavators, visited TSL to see and feel the actual machine. Our staff Chua Pei Xuan from Marketing and Howie Setyono from Equipment hosted them, and explained to the two kids everything on the excavator. The kids were also given an opportunity to sit in the cabin and touch controls in a safe environment.

While the kids were not able to go to an actual construction site due to safety reasons, the marketing team set up a mini construction site with Cat remote controlled toys for them to have a feel on how it is like to manoeuvre the machines.

Both were given a remote excavator model as a souvenir. We hope they will come back to join us when they grow up.
