Tractors Singapore recently won a project to provide marine genset packaging services for 2 government support vessels for an undisclosed country. Each vessel will be installed with 2 units of Cat C280-12 (5MW) and 3 units of Cat C280-6 (2MW) packaged marine gensets. TSL will also conduct 24hrs of stringent testing services in Singapore prior to delivery. The project is expected to be completed in 2022.

TSL was approached by the local Cat dealer to provide assistance and knowledge in marine genset packaging. This marks the confidence that Cat and the local dealer have in TSL as one of the global experts in marine power generation.

Till date, TSL has performed genset packaging works on more than 1000 gensets over the last 50 years in marine, oil & gas and land based applications. In 2005, TSL was also appointed as Cat Marine Excellence Centre’s technical partner.
